Silayah Shell Earring

Featured on Ulla Johnson's Autumn/Winter ‘24 runway, the Silayah Earring is handcrafted in Kenya from African turbo shells that are carefully deconstructed and reformed into a 3-dimensional shape. It has a polished brass profile that’s meticulously detailed with tiny handmade beads, a unique touch inspired by the ancient art of granulation found on Byzantine jewelry. The silhouette is lightweight and hollow, making it the perfect elevated daily adornment.

Due to the handcrafted nature of our jewelry, each is uniquely beautiful and one-of-a-kind.

All of our brass pieces are E-Coated to preserve their luster and ensure they last for seasons to come.

All of our earrings are made with gold-filled wire, hypoallergenic stainless steel ear posts, and gold-plated earring backs.
